This is a gentle, lilting song, about love, life and nature.  
The tune reflects the movements of the waves and winds on the beautiful River Teign as it rolls
from its source on Dartmoor, past Bishopsteignton, Ringmore and Shaldon, down to the sea at Teignmouth. 

 The lyrics pick up on the same senses and express them as subtle characteristics of love,
following life through a day from sunrise to sunset.
